Described by the Evening Standard as a ‘slice of Turkish delight’ and The Londonist as “the new face of Turkish food in London”, Yosma is a restaurant with a big focus on authentic Turkish food made with exceptional quality ingredients.
Executive Chef Hus Vedat describes his focus at Yosma as being to ‘showcase the depth, character and history of Anatolian food and drink, whilst having fun’. Hus’ focus on flavour and freshness begins with the sourcing of only the highest quality ingredients. Fresh whole fish arrives daily from Cornwall whilst whole lambs come from local suppliers and are butchered in-house.
Follow the links below to see examples of Yosma’s day and evening menus featuring dishes from Manti (traditional Turkish dumplings stuffed with fresh lamb, yogurt sauce, chilli oil and mint) to Turkey’s famous kebabs and Künefe, one of their signature dishes.
The restaurant’s showcasing of the very best Turkish produce also extends to its drinks list. Many of the wines on the list are sourced from Turkey, chosen for their indigenous grapes which give exceptional flavour.
In March 2018 Yosma’s drinks offering was extended further with the opening of its very own cocktail bar. Inspired by the Çilingir, the Turkish term for a night filled with friends, food, raki and socialising, the design of the bar was inspired by vintage Turkish cinema and has a stunning art collection. Whether it is for an afternoon catching up with friends over coffee, or an evening filled with dancing and drinks specially created by the talented team, Yosma’s cocktail bar is quickly becoming one of Marlebone’s hottest venues.
Yosma is part of The Good Food Society’s Collection. Featuring four fabulous London restaurants, each with an emphasis on traditional cuisine from around the Mediterranean, the group is quickly becoming a London institution.
