Daniel Watkins is a chef with a passion for great food and impeccable presentation, something which has turned him into an Instagram sensation. Daniel’s exceptional photography was something that began as a way to demonstrate the next day’s food to his team but quickly took the internet by storm, with more than three hundred thousand people following his Instagram account to keep updated with his fabulous food and the art of plating.
It’s not just photography that has been keeping Daniel busy. He recently opened the stunning Ravens bar and restaurant in Southend-on-Sea. This was a major project, having transformed what was once a department store into a high-end dining destination, offering his signature cuisine in addition to a sophisticated bar, a roof-top terrace, lounge and café area.
It was at The Anchor in Hullbridge, Essex where Daniel built his reputation; he spent six years as Head Chef here and had a loyal following of customers who appreciated his extensive cooking talents from classic fare to exotic dishes including Nikkei cuisine.
